Down your street?

The PCC (police and crime commissioner) has pledged that policing is something that local people do, not have done to them. It comes down of course to volunteers. So here is a challenge - street watch in Cranfield?

STREET WATCH IN CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE Street Watch originated in 2007 in Hampshire, is a voluntary organisation run by the community for the community.
The first scheme in Central Bedfordshire was set up in Marston Moretaine in May 2010 where it continues to thrive. Street Watch is about local residents helping to build and maintain stronger and safer communities by patrolling their own streets. By doing this, residents can help the police and other partners ensure Central Bedfordshire remains one of the safest areas to live in the county.
If you wish to consider volunteering, or want information about Street Watch, please contact PCSO Juliet Wright on 01234 842613 or email juliet. wright@bedfordshire.pnn.police.uk, Schemes are operating in: Ampthill, Caddington, Clifton, Harlington, Houghton Regis, Marston Moretaine, Shefford, Shillington and Stotfold. Street Watch has a proven track record of having a positive impact in communities. Visit www.street-watch.org/
