This is worrying - a suggestion that the government might allow a new 'superpeak' fare above the 'normal' peak fare on London commuters lines. I loved the quote from the Dept of Transport: "Family budgets are being squeezed which is why we have cut planned fare rises from 3% to 1% above inflation until 2014"
Yes I had to read that again - not cut from 3% to 1% but by these figures above inflation.
