I got lucky today with no travel to London but another village friend caught the full brunt and appears to have been shipped home via Hitchin. I'll bet that was a jolly journey. Dunkirk spirit. Not.
At the moment it looks like Thameslink is also in trouble tomorrow. Network Rail is quoted saying : "We hope to have two of the four lines open for peak times tomorrow morning (Thursday) with the other two opening later in the morning."
