Some further feedback from Sustainable Communities at CBC:
They say the Development Brief will be referred back to Sustainable
Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 6th March. If the Development
Brief is endorsed and recommended to the Executive Committee it will be
considered on 19th March. The Executive Committee will consider whether to
adopt the document as technical planning guidance, meaning that it will be
a consideration for any future planning applications for the site.
The officer adds: "We appreciate your
comments regarding the importance of Council departments acting together,
rather than as separate sections. I can assure you that Central Bedfordshire
Council Planning and Children's Services are fully coordinated with one
another, working closely throughout the planning process."
