(01-FEB-13) - offence location is a three bedroom detached dwelling house situated in a cul de sac in the Cranfield area. between times and dates stated unknown offenders have approached the rear kitchen door via a side alleyway and have used an unknown implement to pop 3x mortis locks from the rear kitchen door causing minor damage to the frame. once the locks were open the door was insecure and offenders have entered and made a brief untidy search of all rooms in the house. offenders selected a large blue carlton travelling bag and in it placed cd player, jewellery, dell laptop computer, 2x spare sets of car keys and 2x digital cameras. offenders have then made off out of entry point and made good their escape via unknown direction.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
HIGH STREET CRANFIELD

Committed between 29/01/2013 a 23:00 and 30/01/2013 10:00


(30-JAN-13) - location of offence is a driveway running to the side of a residential property in the area of cranfield. ip has parked the vehicle at approximately 1830 hours on 29/01/2013 leaving the vehicle locked, secured and alarmed. the IP heard a clattering noise at 2315 hours on 29/01/2013 and looked out of the window but did not see anyone due to the dark and the position that the vehicle was parked meant that the IP was unable to see the front of the vehicle. unknown offender(s) have approached the vehicle by unknown means from unknown direction. offender(s) have then carefully removed the front fog lights from the vehicle and the bottom valance grill. offender(s) have unscrewed the items leaving the screws on the floor at the location. offender(s) having removed the items have then made of in unknown direction by unknown means.

(24-JAN-13) - location of offence is a parking area outside the IP’s residential property set within a Bedfordshire village. between stated dates and times, ip has parked his vehicle locked and secure. unknown offender/s have approached the vehicle and using an unknown implement have removed part of the right side windscreen wiper. unknown offender/s have made off via unknown means in an unknown direction.

THEFT FROM AUTOMATIC MACHINES AND METERS
CRANFIELD COLLEDGE

(17-FEB-13) - location of offence is an atm located at the rear of the post office, college road Cranfield. between material date and times, 4 unknown offenders in unknown vehicle have attended the location with cutting equipment to attempt to gain access to the atm and steal the contents. due to sequential confirmation alarm signalling atm had been tampered with, police were notified by the alarm company. officers were deployed. on officer arrival offenders and vehicle had made of fin unknown direction. obvious damage could be seen on the safe, doors and frame of the atm. damage valued to be in excess of £1000.

BUDGENS STORE

(15-FEB-13) - location of offence is in the car park of Budgens supermarket situated on the high street in the village of Cranfield. between stated times and dates the ip left the stated scooter insecure at the side of the building by the front doors to the entrance of the shop. unknown offender(s) have entered the location and have removed the scooter from the location by unknown means. unknown offenders have then left the location by unknown means in an unknown direction.
the IP has checked with the store to see if anything has been kept aside/handed in to negative effect. the store is opposite the ips home address. no scope for soco due to the nature of the incident no known CCTV no known witnesses

IP called in to say that a member of the public has handed the scooter back and they would now like the report closed.

(04-FEB-13) - location is three separate offices with separate entrances within a block belonging to cranfield university student association. all three offices are on the first floor next to each other. block also contains a student bar, shop and gym. between stated times and dates unknown offender has entered three offices using a key and taken approx total of £500 from insecure cash boxes. unknown offender has then left in an unknown direction.

INF STATES GROUP OF YOUTHS IN VEH'S HANGING AROUND O/S THE SHOPS PLAYING LOUD MUSIC FROM THE VEH'S CAUSING A GENERAL NUISANCE O/S THE SHOP. INF FEELS INTIMIDATED BY THEM HE STATES THEY HAVE PUT EXTRA STAFF IN THE ALCOHOL SECTION IN CASE OF ANY ISSUES
