Spare a thought for Julie as the pressure builds at Cranfield Post Office. The elves think they have it bad but who'd be on the PO desk in December? Still, she has her cheery smile as ever and seems to be bearing up. My internet research suggest 1.8 BILLION cards are sent each year but that is ASK JEEVES. Let's just say 'tons'.

Trouble in Cranfield is, of course, addicted to electronic communication including tweetering, bookfacing, texting and the beloved blog. But you can't beat a piece of mail coming through your letter box and we do our best to offer friends and rellies the same pleasure. I've just been up  to Coop Corner to send off the US airmail stuff. Now back to the UK list. For the avoidance of doubt here's a guide for last postings. And if you haven't posted that card to your aunt in New Zealand, tough. The last day is gone.
