The next Parish Council surgery, scheduled for February will be themed around dementia awareness. We hope that Rina Persaud who is promoting this project in Cranfield will be able to do a presentation to both members of the public and parish councillors.
We will be looking for both an increase in awareness and any practical steps that local organisations, including the parish council, can take to make the community more conscious of the needs of those who are affected by dementia. And of course their carers/families who bear most of the responsibility.
