Raining where you are? Saving any of that excess water for a...er...rainy day? Every cloud has a silver lining and an awful lot of water. Admittedly the garden doesn't need much at present but my butt keeps my house plants and tomatoes regularly topped up. You can order a butt through the Central Beds Home Composting scheme:

The
impact of climate change and the ever rising demand for water is
putting a massive strain on our water supply. We need to cut down on our
water usage before it is too late.
Due
to water butt sales being at an extremely high level, we have taken the
decision to limit the number of water butts individual customers can
order on your Home Composting scheme to a maximum of 2 per order.
This will mean the customer can purchase either 2 x 100 Litre Mini Rainsaver Water Butt or2 x 190 Litre Rainsaver Water Butt or 1 of each size.
