Dog worrying

At parish council last night we discussed the incident involving  a puppy (which died) and an aggressive dog in the Recreation Ground that was reported in the Cranfield Express. We were told that the police did not regard it as a 'dangerous dog event'.  I don't have the full facts but it sounds like an incredibly frightening dog event. This will alarm many responsible dog owners/walkers in the village
