The Cranfield short mat bowls club is one of the successful developments from the refurbished and reopened village hall. As this recent pic shows it is well subscribed and the bowlers seem in great form. My preferred bowling involves leg breaks, seam and googlies but each to their own.
The bowlers are sporting their new polo shirts with the club logo. These have been acquired with the help of a section 137 grant from the parish council. So good luck to the Cranfield Short Matters.
