Waste collection

It's anyone's guess what will happen with waste collection tomorrow but the residual and food waste (brown) bins are out. The brown bin is now rather over full.

So....are the folk of Cranfield still only having their bins collected every fortnight?

Every week in fact with green and residual alternating and food waste weekly.

The trouble with both the Parish and Central Beds Councils is that they are run by really really OLD people who's needs are totally at odds of the younger generation and those with young families.

They tend to be selfish in their decissions because they honestly believe that the average person/family has exactly the same needs as they do - i.e. there are only 2 of us in our house OR I am widowed so why do we need weekly bin collections?

Younger people with families should be actively encouraged to run for election!

Don't know what age you are "Anonymous" but I'm 56 which is a brilliant age. In my prime as I think they say and we have four adults in the house throwing out an awful lot of stuff. But i do have a huge passion about more participation in elections and councils. See my latest posting
