Usual shoulder bags and jeans and tee shirts (designer tee shirts for the MBAs of course) replaced with finery and black gowns and funny hats. Proud parents, spouses, children etc are floating round toting cameras and holding up phones.
Our household's grad was 1988 and we partied til dawn and walked back across the airfield.
